"Let's watch Winx Together" Episode 4

Episode 4 - The Black Mud Swamp

Alright at the start of this episode we really get a feel for these fairies, and they aren't very different from our typical high school girls. We also meet Professor Palladium who is one of those super nice teachers. He is quite the pushover. Anyway the task at hand is for them to get out of Black Mud Swamp without using magic, because they need to be able to "listen to nature". Honestly that sounds super dumb. This one of my least liked episodes in season 1. Mostly, because this "listen to nature" stuff doesn't really show up for the rest of the season. If I made this exercise I would have the same concept except I would let 

use basic magic. What I mean by basic magic is no transformation ,but magic they would be able to use if they were low on energy ,or somewhere were they can't exactly use a lot of magic. Both of these cases have happen before. Maybe I just don't understand it from a teacher perspective ,or maybe all school magic or not have stupid assignments. "Oh yes dear all this mud is so very inconvenient."- Musa. Another point for Musa. You have to admit she has a very sarcastic personality  it's great. It is very said that they do decided to get rid of it. I mean I understand it in they way her character has developed and she is a strong women. However this is only in season 3-4 ,however, all the Winx's development back tracked season 5-6. I'am getting ahead of my self we talk about that later. Knut is another one of my favorite secondary characters. "Guess I shouldn't have ate those beans." -Knut. "The Specialists are going to here? When?" -Stella Point for Stella. Guys Riven....Riven. I know everyone likes him, because he is another bad boy I get it. I don't mind him being the lone wolf someone who as a...honestly rude personality, but Riven always takes it to far in my opinion. His character is quite the bumpy ride. His character development is so super good, until season 4. That is when in my opinion his character goes to shit really. You have to hand it to the Trix they are very talented. It's a shame their hearts are evil. They could have made fantastic witches. I understand this is called Winx Club, but I they could have done more with the witches. "You can all stop thinking now" Tecna ... That sentence choice is always makes me laugh. This scene is always very enjoyable to watch. I guess every school has it's mean girl, that girl at 14:00 was a real nightmare. Poor Icy's duck I feel so bad for him. Out of all the pets we meet him and Kiko are my favorite. I wish they brought him back in season 2. When the Trix "send away" the hunting troll I'm pretty sure they killed him. I always has that feeling whenever watching this episode. The Winx can be pretty stupid "Icy's duck feathers are here and the hunting troll disappeared those two have no connection at all....nope." Musa has the hots for Riven...it's about to be a bumpy ride. Stella saying "Prince Sky's" name before sleeping is extremely cringe. Hated that part. ♥5.5/10 Winx Points♥ I have to say that what saved to this episode was Musa's sarcasm. If someone wants to argue and say it let's us know about the boys more I disagree. A lot of their personality shows a bunch more in later episodes. It does lead into to a great next episode though.
